Great lunch bargain for healthy and tasty dishes: Restaurant Gärtnerei (13. February 2017)
The lunch menu (CHF 19.90) is still a bargain as you get a drink, a soup and a salad for only CHF 19.90. The salad is freshly prepared in front of you.
The monthly special is “The Burner” and frankly, it is quite a burner as it is a nice selection of good ingredients, rich in flavour and rich in combination.
The portions you get are absolutely enough for a quick lunch and if you have a hearty soup like a “chilli con carne”, you will definitely feel stuffed.
Overall, the lunch bargain at the Restaurant Gärtnerei is definitely a great bargain for Zurich. Not only because the portions are big and the price is relatively cheap (especially considering that 25% of the price go for the beverage) but it is also rather tasty. Atmosphere-wise it isn’t really that appealing but then again, it is no place where you spend much more time than needed in order to have your lunch.
