18. August 2010: Seerestaurant acqua
The Seerestaurant acqua is located right next to the Zurich lake and is easily reachable by bus (Nr. 161 or Nr. 165; stop: Schweizer Rück). The restaurant has two levels and on both a lounge is located. On the top floor there is an OpenAir Lounge which offers you a great view all over Zurich and Zurich lake. The view is just marvelous. Also the interior design is great – the single pieces fit together and the design of them is also quite nice.
The waitresses are friendly and quite quick – also a bit obtrusive. We didn’t really have time to pick a dish we wanted – the waitres continuously came asking if we’re done choosing. The drinks are brought real quick to your table and you only have to wait a few minutes.
We had a Beef Carpaccio which was okay in taste but nothing special really. Although it was a starter only, the size was okay and the price as well (CHF 22.00).
All in all, the Seerestaurant acqua is a nice place to go and enjoy a drink on the outside terrace. The dishes are okay in taste and the prices are fine too. But the main reason to go to the Seerestaurant acqua is definitely the view at night.
