11. September 2010: Restaurant Golfclub Lenzerheide

The Golfclub Lenzerheide is situated within a 20 minutes walking distance from the town of Lenzerheide. It’s also easily reachable by car and offers a large parking lot.

The restaurant in the Golfclub is located on a little hill top from which you have a nice overview over the golf court and where you can enjoy the sun on the terrace. The crowd of people is quite good – some smaller exceptions excluded.

When you order something, although the place was quite packed, the ordered comes within a few minutes – not mattering if it is a beer only or a burger. We went for the burger as it was included in the Golfing Package from www.golfspektakel.ch which also makes it difficult to judge on the price.

The burger wasn’t bad but it was more sold as a “club sandwich” which – in my opinion – it wasn’t. Still, in taste, not much to complain, the meat was grilled as it’s supposed to be and the ingredients used in the club sandwich were also good.

All in all, the Restaurant at the Golfclub Lenzerheide is a great place to go and have a glass of wine and something small to eat after a round of golf. But it’s not worth driving there just for the food. Still, the patio is very enjoyable and the service is nice and friendly.
