If you’re looking for a lunch bargain with sushi – this is the place: Restaurant Samurai II (13. July 2017)
It is about two years ago since I’ve last paid one of the Samurai restaurants a visit – but it was time again. Part of the lunch bento offers is a “miso soup” and while it was ‘just a miso soup’ it was definitely way better than many of those soups I’ve had in the past as it actually had some own flavour and not just “no flavour”.
The “Bento Box” (CHF 30.00) which I chose for lunch (unfortunately, I forgot to write down its name) consisted of sushi, sashimi, salmon salad, fried salmon and some vegetables. And it was not only a super decent portion in terms of size but the quality of the dish was also absolutely good. And not to mention the service – we initially stated that we’d only have 40 minutes before we had to go again and they managed to attend us super swiftly making sure we were done by 35! Service how you wish it to be for lunch – no stalling, no waiting, swift, good, friendly!
So, the Restaurant Samurai II is definitely a great place to enjoy a quick and tasty lunch for a very decent price in a clean and simple atmosphere with good service – and even the prices for beverages are decent (i.e. 0,5l sparkling water for CHF 5.00). Booking a table in advance might be a good idea though.
