Surprisingly good breakfast selection: Klaus K Dine @ Klaus K Hotel (30. July 2017)

| November 1, 2017 | 0 Comments

While I was not expecting much of breakfast at the Klaus K Hotel initially as my experience with design hotels is not entirely positive, I was actually quite surprised by the quality of the breakfast. There was a large selection of different fruits …

… as well as healthy types of bread …

… and you were able to toast your own bread.

Now, what I personally liked most about it was the fresh smoked salmon. There was a whole side of smoked salmon there and it was incredibly delicious. I think I ate half of it over the course of the days I’ve stayed at the place.

In addition to that, there was a decent selection of sausages and scrambled eggs. However, if you wanted something else like an omelet or the like you would have to pay for it extra. Not really what I’d expect but well – which is true btw also for various types of coffee.

At least there was free filter coffee and a variety of teas which came with the breakfast included.

The selection of freshly pressed juices was also decent overall, however, not really a large variety. The placed was absolutely crowded and it was at times difficult to find a place to sit. But the whole thing is held in what I’d call ‘Nordic design’ and is – therefore – pretty comfortable overall. The service quality varies greatly depending on the day – while some days the service was attentive and friendly and helpful other days it was just not present (not sure where they were but they were definitely not really there).

If you’re staying at the Klaus K Hotel, it is absolutely legit to have breakfast here. However, if you’re not staying here, I would not do the extra effort of coming here for breakfast.
