Quite amazing meat in the middle of nowhere in Hamburg: Restaurant Arizona Steak-House (2. September 2017)

| December 11, 2017 | 0 Comments

I guess I would never have entered the Arizona Steak-House. Not because of the place but because it is rather remote, i.e. far from the city centre. However, given we were there in the context of a bachelor party and the bachelor eats there quite often, we ended up there. The place is loud, full, and intense. In terms of people, waiters, and smells. But it is still very pleasant. Once you have taken your place, they serve you some “bread with chimichurri” which was great in terms of taste.

As a main course, I decided to try the “Bife de Lomo (200gr) served with garlic bread and French fries (instead of a baked potato)” (EUR 14.90). Frankly, I was absolutely skeptical about the quality of the meat for such a price – and I was so wrong. The meat was very tasty and tender – something I had definitely not expected.

The “corn with onion” (EUR 2.10) which I had ordered as a side dish was amazing in terms of flavour and really fit well with the meat. Overall, I must say I have not often eaten so well for such a low price. To me, a complete, positive, surprise!

Besides the quality of the food, the service was friendly, swift, and jovial. And Momo, the owner, made sure we would have a great time there. So, whenever you are in Hamburg, I can absolutely recommend you to go there and get your piece of meat. It is just great! And doesn’t really cost anything! Just make sure to book a table in advance as else you will pretty much not stand a chance to get a table.
