The perfectly tasty meat to finish the Argentina trip: Restaurant Santos Manjares (27. October 2017)

| March 2, 2018 | 0 Comments

The last meal in Buenos Aires was among the best ones – quite surprisingly so given the restaurant was a rather local and simple one. The Santos Manjares is really just a down-to-earth family-run business which serves simple meals – but incredibly tasty ones. The “bife de lomo” (255 ARS) served with salad, tomatoes, and onions was so incredibly tender and luscious – and the grill flavours made it so mouth-watering. One of the best pieces of meat I’ve tried while in Argentina.

The “bread served with cream cheese with vegetables spread” was fine too. The bread was a bit old and dry but the cream cheese with vegetables was surprisingly tasty. The service was fine, i.e. they were attentive and making sure that your food would arrive within no time.

When you are in Buenos Aires, I can definitely recommend you to try the Santos Manjares as the meat is truly delicious and has an amazing grill flavour. The place is simple yet nice, the service is friendly, and the prices are more than reasonable (e.g. water, 35 ARS).
