Amazing place for day drinking: Lantern’s Lounge & Restaurant (17. November 2017)
To find something like a club or a decent bar where you can drink quite a bit isn’t all that easy in Manama. But the Lantern’s Lounge and Restaurant is actually quite a decent place to do exactly that. If you go there directly after brunch, it is half empty but it fills up quite substantially over time. And it is the perfect place for day drinking – I went for a “Green Lantern (vodka, southern comfort, melon, coconut liquor, pineapple, sour mixed)” (4.200 BHD). And it is not only quite a portion so you’d be happy after one but it is also super tasty.
The “Mojito Classic Pitcher” (12.500 BHD) on the other han wasn’t really what I’d call a good mojito but it did the trick after two Green Lanterns. The service is friendly and attentive – but gets busier and busier throughout the evening, respectively the waitress gets less and less attentive. Still, for day drinking – great location!
