Great beach bar in a good location: Restaurant Barasti (13. December 2017)

| April 25, 2018 | 0 Comments

The Barasti Beach bar is located right next to the Le Méridien Mina Seyahi and the Westin Mina Seyahi and is actually part of the Westin. The place is rather huge and you get a nice selection of also late at night which seems to be a bit of a problem in most restaurants in Dubai. We inquired in about 5 restaurants before Barasti (which we chose out of convenience and proximity) – none would serve food after 11pm. Anyways, the “burger” was decent and so were the fries.

If you’re hungry, the “nacho plate” looks like a good option. I didn’t actually get to try it as my colleague completely devoured it within minutes :-)

The place itself is actually quite nice but it gets chilly in the night during December – which you can compensate for by enjoying a Shisha. Which is served by a specific shisha guy who keeps changing your coals whenever you ask for it.

Overall, the Barasti is nothing spectacular in terms of food but it is atmospheric and quite fun during the day, I imagine.
