An incredible lunch bargain: Restaurant Farnsburg (14. March 2018)
It’s more than 6 months ago since I’ve been to the Farnsburg – and the offer is still the same. When we look at what you get for your money, the price performance ratio is outstanding. Part of the lunch menu is a complimentary salad which is rather simple yet good.
As a main, I went for the “Pizza Vulcano (Tomatoes, Mozzarella, Oregano, Spicy Salami)” (CHF 19.50) and had asked for “extra anchovies” which were added without additional charge. And the pizza is quite tasty.
Part of it all is even a dessert – just like that it is served. And keep in mind, for only CHF 19.50 you get a salad, the main, the dessert and an espresso. Quite a bargain I would say. And something I had definitely not expected! I had in mind it was not that expensive but I had forgotten how cheap it is, respectively how good the bargain really is.
The place is simple, the dishes are decent, and last but not least, the prices are exquisite. So, if you are in Liestal, hungry, and want to eat properly while not spending a fortune, the Farnsburg is the perfect place to do exactly that.
