Lovely patio for lunch in the middle of Zurich: Restaurant Puro Social Club (27. June 2018)
As I remember, the Puro Social Club was another restaurant just about a year ago. Somehow, they managed to set up something new which seems to work quite nicely. I went for the “salad with beef filet stripes, broccoli, avocado, grilled zucchini and sprouts” (CHF 34.00) which was absolutely delicious.
The “sweet potato fries” looked incredibly promising as a side dish to another main, so I asked them to prepare such for me. And they did. However, they were not as good as they read as they were a bit too stroppy for my personal gusto.
The place is quite amazing as you get to sit outside in the sun and the atmosphere is just lovely. The service is friendly, swift, and even when you ask for the bill, it doesn’t take long until it arrives.
