Delicious pizza but overpriced salad: Restaurant Pizzeria Ristorante Molino Stauffacher (4. July 2018)
The “Insalata Mista” (CHF 10.50) is rather simple and basically consists of leaf salad and some carrots and half a cherry tomato, so with CHF 10.50, it is at the upper limit of what is acceptable for a starter salad.
The “Pizza Burrata (tomatoes, mozzarella di buffala, San Daniele ham, cherry tomatoes, burrata, mozzarelline, basil, oregano)” (CHF 31.00) on the other hand is not entirely cheap but actually very delicious as the mozzarella di buffala can be appleid to your gusto to each piece you’re having. The dough is a tiny bit too thick in my opinion but the taste is exquisite.
We had to wait quite a bit until we finally were served, respectively we were placed at a table but if you are patient and wait, you will potentially be assigned a table which is ‘reserved’ (but in fact isn’t) as they use the ‘reserved’ labels purely to block tables. The service, once we were seated, was friendly and swift and overall quite attentive – and even when I had asked for the bill, I got it within no time (which is quite an exception).
