Lovely fresh food in a nice garden like area in the middle of busy streets: Restaurant Bederhof (4. July 2018)
The Bederhof is a lovely restaurant with a little garden which is perfect to sit outside – once you’ve found the entrance to it all. The service was swift and came to the table right away. I went for the daily special, a “gazpacho” which was perfectly refreshing.
The “fresh artichoke with vinaigrette” which I had as a main course was delicious. It is, as always, a bit messy to eat but it was absolutely great in terms of flavour. Definitely a must try (if they have it on the menu).
The location is nice and relatively calm (especially considering that the garden is at the corner of two streets, so it’s generally rather noisy). Overall, you get good dishes in a nice atmosphere with good service – only when we intended to get the bill, it seemed like the personnel was off for 10 minutes as no one was to be seen to order the bill.
