Great beef tartare with anchovies: Restaurant du Théâtre (20. July 2018)
It’s a bit ago since I’ve been to the Du Théâtre and I was happy to return as the “menu salad” is really always a bit different, refreshing and rich.
The “edamame maldon salt flakes” (CHF 12.00) on the other hand are fine but they are really not the edamame you get in Asia.
However, the “beef tatare with anchovies” (CHF 39.00) was great. The meat is absolutely delicious, the anchovies add their part to the dish and really make it a delicious combination. You definitely must like anchovies to order this combination (I was expecting the anchovies to be part of the tartare and not as separate fish on top of it).
If you are ready to spend ~CHF 50.00 per person for lunch, then the Restaurant Du Théâtre is a great choice which lets you enjoy your meal in peace.
Coming for lunch also means booking early – as their website has apparently some issues with the booking system, I’d recommend you to either book via telephone or via your mobile phone (there, for some reason, the booking platform works).
