Lovely place and decent food: Seminar Rooms @ Landgoed Duin & Kruidberg (3. September 2018)

What you get at the Landgoed Duni & Kruidberg during a seminar is a very sound selection of dishes – but it becomes quite repetitive if you spend a couple of days there. The starter buffet is basically a selection of cheeses and cold cuts …

… completed by a small selection of salad …

… soup …

… and ultimately a warm dish. The food is good but frankly not overwhelming.

In the evening there was a live grill which was complemented by some salads …

… which was generally fine. The selection of meat was good and the quality was decent but the portion was somehow enormous considering the amount of people. So, unfortunately, there was quite some food waste.

The place itself is quite lovely – from the outside at least. From the inside not as much but still okay.

Overall, the Landgoed Duin & Kruidberg is a nice place which can definitely be visited but frankly speaking, the whole thing is not as good as it looks from outside. I like it, yes, the food is decent, yes. But the whole thing is just somewhat overrated.
