Perfect location for breakfast right next to the canals: Restaurant La Terrasse Du Marché (9. September 2018)
Finding a place for breakfast isn’t entirely easy – but the La Terrasse of the market is actually just the perfect spot for that! You get to sit on a small balcony which is overlooking the canals of Colmar and they offer a good breakfast for a fair price: “Formula 18 EUR (1 hot drink, 1/3 bread, 1 croissant, 1 butter, 1 jam, 1 honey, 1 orange juice, 1 natural yogurt …
… “plus 1 plate served wit ham and cheese, 1 cremant brut)” (EUR 18.00). The portion is huge! I mean, I love a hearty breakfast but this is beyond hearty and definitely feeds two – just not on the bread part. But else definitely!
The service is friendly and relatively swift and the atmosphere is just gorgeous – the chances you score a table by the water though are relatively limited but if you are lucky, you get one there which is absolutely ideal to relax a bit and unwind while enjoying a breakfast in the sun.
