Amazing Tantanmen soup with – unfortunately – slow service: Restaurant Saku (26. September 2018)

| February 14, 2019 | 0 Comments

The Saku remains a great place for a hearty, tasty business lunch – just make sure to book in advance as the place is rather small. Although today, the place was actually not so crowded but this might also be attributable to the fact that this day was among the last days of summer. They offer a great lunch bargain – the “Tantanmen Set” (CHF 28.00) which is …

… “sushi rolls” as a starter which are simple but good to get started.

And a soup of your choice as a main – I went for the “Tantanmen (spicy miso base with minced meat, corn, egg, spring onions, nori and wakame)” (usually CHF 24.00). The soup is hearty and nicely spicy. But overall really a good and nice main course.

As initially stated – great for a business lunch. The only thing you have to be aware of – it might take a while. Everything is very good but the service is relatively slow – especially for a lunch occasion.
