Decent lunch offering with swift service: Restaurant Casa Palmieri (15. October 2018)

| March 12, 2019 | 0 Comments

Soon after having been there for the first time, I returned to the Casa Palmieri for a quick lunch. As a starter, I went for “Insalata Caprese (tomatoes, mozzarella)” (EUR 11.00) which was fine but I suppose tomato season is over as they were lacking flavour.

As a main course, I went for the “Pasta Zucca Gorgonzola” (EUR 14.00) which was rich. The pumpkin stuffing was smooth and intense – however, the gorgonzola wasn’t applied very generously and could have been a bit more. The cooking was great though as it was quite perfectly al dente.

The place is fine and simple. The service is swift and friendly and the prices are absolutely decent. Luckily, there is no need to book a table in advance as it is relatively empty.
