Great lunch bargain with super friendly service: Restaurant Poseidon (21. November 2018)
I have passed the Restaurant Poseidon a couple of times and so far it always looked a bit like a take away but there is actually a proper restaurant at the back of the entrance which is quite spacious. The lunch bargain is actually amazing. For only CHF 23.50 you get a “leek soup” as a starter …
… plus “gyros (veal with French fries and vegetables)” . The leek soup was actually delicious and the gyros with the vegetables and the French fries were also a rather nice sized meal. The place is simple yet somehow appealing as it is spacious and you have enough space between the tables so you have some privacy.
The waiter is friendly and swift and very solution oriented. There is a 0,3L beverage included in the price and I had asked for a 0.5L beverage (telling him that I’d pay the difference). And he said, it isn’t a problem and will still cost the same, even if I get the larger beverage. And a coffee is also included. So, frankly, the Poseidon really is a bargain!
