Perfect relaxation location to enjoy a couple of drinks: The Drawing Room @ The St. Regis Bangkok (26. December 2018)

| May 4, 2019 | 0 Comments

When you are staying at The St. Regis in Bangkok as an SPG Platinum member, you get a voucher a day to attend ‘The Drawing Room’ instead of lounge access (as there is no lounge) and they serve you some small snacks plus a drink at your gusto (from a preselected list). As every St. Regis has its signature Bloody Merry cocktail, I had to try the “Siam Merry”. I definitely liked it but it was on the rather spicy side!

Secondly, I went for the “Russian Ginger Moscow Mule” which was okay but not as surprising and great as the Siam Merry. Still, worth a try. The other evenings, I went for further drinks and I must say all in all, they are all quite decent.

The place itself is lovely and in the evenings, everything is accompanied by live music with a battery, a guitar and a live singer. Lovely really!

It seemed to be “the week of the mushrooms” so on several evenings they served spicy mushrooms as a ‘food’. Well, that’s okay I guess but it does not entirely compensate the non-existing lounge.

The service though is impeccable. There was a waitress (unfortunately I didn’t see her name) which was incredibly friendly and helpful at all times! Really just impeccable! How service should be! I can definitely recommend you to have a drink at The Drawing Room – even if you are not staying at The St. Regis and are not an SPG platinum member.
