Great pizza and caring service: Restaurant Padrino (26. January 2019)
If you are looking for a pizzeria in Davos after 10pm, it becomes quite tricky to find something which still serves after this time. After having tried quite a couple of locations, we finally stumbled upon the Restaurant Padrino which would still take orders till 10:30pm. Luckily! Given the place was still absolutely packed at around 10:20pm when we walked in, we – as a group of seven – were first seated at a rather small table before we were finally brought to a larger table once it was cleared. The waiters were very friendly and caring making sure we would have everything we needed despite the rather late time.
I went for a “Pizza Diavola ‘spicy’ (tomatoes, mozzarella, spicy salami) and additional anchovies” (CHF 22.00) which was much much better than expected as the pizza dough was super thin and crispy and the topping was fresh and delicious.
The ice cream selection was rather limited but it was overall fine (i.e. tasty). So, to sum it up, the Padrino is a nice place for a late night pizza with friendly and caring service!
If you are trying to get there ‘in season’, then it might be quite tricky to get a table on short notice. Therefore, I would highly recommend you to book a table in advance.
