Tricky to get a table where you can enjoy a shisha: Siddharta Lounge By Buddha Bar @ Grosvenor House (29. March 2019)
It is not easy to find a location which serves shisha as well as booze. The Siddharta Lounge is such a place but you should either book in advance or make sure they are at least not closed for a private event. However, when they are open, you have to insist to get a table at the front where you can eat and smoke shisha as this combination is apparently not so natural. In any case, after some time, we got the table. Although it was hard bargaining! Finally, I was able to enjoy my “double apple shisha” which was good but not great as you had to suck in quite hard to get a proper smoke.
As a main, we had ordered “beef with vegetables” which was better than expected. The meat was again rather tender and juicy and the topping they had put on top of the meat actually made it exquisite. Good food in relatively surprising locations.
The Siddharta Lounge is a nice place to enjoy a shisha and decent food – and get something better than expected. Furthermore, the place is actually quite atmospheric and not so damn loud like so many places in the area. However, if you want to make sure that you get a place to eat, book in advance!
