Better than it used to be but still hotel food: Restaurant Olivé @ Radisson Blu St. Gallen (11. April 2019)
It’s quite some time ago since I’ve last eaten at the Restaurant Olive in the Radisson Blu in St. Gallen and I was positively surprised that they have redesigned the place. It is more spacious, more modern, just more appealing compared to about two years ago. I went for the “Caesar salad (lettuce, bacon, Parmigiano Reggiano, crossini, grilled chicken breast)” (CHF 29.50) and while my expectations weren’t very high, they were also not disappointed. You get what you ask and pay for – a Caesar salad. Nothing special but it does the job.
The service was swift and the the waitress was super friendly. So, all in all, if you stay at the Radisson Blu, it is definitely fine to have a brief dinner here – if you are looking for a true culinary experience, you might consider another place in St. Gallen.
