Waiters with an attitude: Swanky Monkey Garden Bar (27. April 2019)
The ‘Swanky Monkey Garden Bar’ is actually quite a lovely place. You have to know where it is as it is not entirely easy to spot the entrance but once you do, it is worth going in as there is a little terrace in the green which has a nice, simple, modernist design and it’s super quiet, just off the busy main street. The “Five Points” (42 HRK) is a rather decent drink all in all.
What is not so great is the service – or at least the attitude of the waiter. He was rather swift in serving the requested drinks, I must admit. However, he had quite an attitude towards one of the group and didn’t try hiding it. So, in terms of location, great. In terms of service, generally good. In terms of quality of drinks, okay. In terms of attitude of the waiter – an absolute no go!
