Hearty breakfast at the flee market: Restaurant Bonk (28. April 2019)

| May 26, 2019 | 0 Comments

Somehow I had the idea of having some hearty breakfast so I went for the “Brit Burger by Mason (Mason bun, 100% baby beef, aged 40 days (180gr), lettuce, barbeque sauce, cheddar cheese, onion, aceto balsamico)” (62 HRK) which wasn’t bad but the meat could have been a bit less cooked. The “bulgur salad” (15 HRK) I had ordered as a side wasn’t spectacular or anything but fine to try.

What I liked though was the “Banana’Nanas (frozen bananas, milk, honey, oats & greek yogurt)” (28 HRK) which didn’t taste like what the name would make you thing (like pineapple, i.e. ‘ananas’) but it was good.

The Bonk is located right next to a flee market which is inviting for people watching. The fact that the actual restaurant is located on the other end of the market and the tables are outside in the opposite direction, you really need to learn to be patient. Else, it is a fine place for a hearty breakfast.
