A swift but heavy lunch: Restaurant La Bocca City (16. May 2019)
I made the mistake of ordering a soup before my main course – I shouldn’t have. The soup, the “Crema di Pomodoro” (CHF 8.70) was decent in terms of taste and size.
But that was already the problem as the “gnocchi al gorgonzola” (CHF 21.70) portion was so huge it was hard to finish it. But it was also quite tasty. What I did not expect was that they would serve it au gratin and not just with a cheese sauce. Definitely interesting, but making it even heavier. So, my tip here – just get a main, no need for a starter!
The place is simple, organized and the waitress was friendly and attentive. As it is a place they like with regards to lunch – booking in advance is recommended.
