A lovely little bar with a nice patio: Brønnum Bar (1. June 2019)
The Brønnum Bar is among the best rated bars in Copenhagen, and I’d say, for a reason. Although it was only shortly after lunch, the place was rather empty still but started to fill up quite substantially within about 60 minutes. I went for “An apple a day (lemon juice, sunflower seed infused apple juice, ginger & rosemary syrup, fever-tree soda)” (70 DKK) which was rather refreshing and overall tasty.
The “crisps” (40 DKK) are obviously nothing extraordinary but did the trick in terms of stuffing your stomach for a bit when it’s empty …
but the “cheese selection” (90 DKK) which was really just one type of cheese was better than expected as it came with a chutney and some bread.
What I liked most about the place was the little patio it had where you could just sit outside, protected from the bad weather and relax accordingly.
The waiter was French and super friendly and did actually a very good job. The only thing which could have been better was the attention part – once we had been served and all had their drinks, he was kind of gone so it was difficult to order the bill. But that is just a minor issue in the big whole context of service at Brønnum.
