Absolutely nice lunch offering: Restaurant Einstein Bistro (20. June 2019)

| July 18, 2019 | 0 Comments

The Einstein Bistro is part of the Einstein hotel which is supposedly the best hotel in St. Gallen. They do offer a nice lunch offering though in any case, for a solid CHF 28.00 you get a starter and a main which I consider quite a bargain. Today it was a “cocos curry soup” which was not as watery as these lunch soups so often are and actually also quite nice in terms of flavor.

As a main, I went for the “salmon cubes on wok vegetables and fried glass noodles” (CHF 28.00, incl. the soup) which was actually much better than expected! Somehow, I did not have high expectations when I read the menu but it was actually delicious.

The service was super attentive and friendly and it didn’t take long until my beverages and the dishes were served. The atmosphere is soso – nothing particularly fancy in terms of interior but practical and comfortable. Definitely a can do if you are looking for a lunch location in St. Gallen.
