Amazingly good for freshly grilled fish: Restaurant Lagerhaus (20. June 2019)
I knew that the restaurant Lagerhaus offers quite a decent and tasty selection of dishes – but I was all the more surprised how good their “market fish (gilthead)” (CHF 36.00) actually is. They prepare it freshly, stuff it with lemons and thyme and grill it on the charcoal grill which just makes the fish absolutely delicious!
The dish also comprises a “side salad which grilled vegetables” (on top) which is decent in terms of flavor and quite generous in terms of portion.
The “liquid butter” which is served with it is lovely but obviously super unhealthy – but definitely worth pouring over your freshly grilled and juicy, tasty fish!
The place is overall lovely as there is enough space between the tables that you have your privacy and the ceiling of the room is rather high so you feel very comfortable right away! Furthermore, the service, in our case, Rebecca, did a great job as she was super friendly and attentive and – on top of that – swift! All in all, the restaurant Lagerhaus is still a safe bet! Not only for lunches but also for dinner – and in both cases, booking in advance is highly recommended!
