Good lunch offering in a cool atmosphere: Restaurant zum Schlössli (25. June 2019)

| July 26, 2019 | 0 Comments

It is a bit ago since I’ve been to the Schlössli but I have good memories of the place, so it was time to visit again. As a starter I went for the “cold bell pepper soup with cream cheese balls”. The soup was refreshing and ideal for the hot temperatures.

As a main, I went for the “meat stripes from milk calf with morels and mushrooms, vegetables, and crispy roesti” (CHF 33.50) which was delicious but a bit a tiny portion. The whipped cream wasn’t really necessary taste-wise as it doesn’t add much to the quality of the dish but it does, optically, look nice.

The place itself is nice and quite cool (in terms of temperature) given it is boiling hot outside, this is a welcome change. The service is friendly and attentive and the beverages are served quite quickly. All in all, the Restaurant zum Schlössli is a nice choice for lunch.
