Lovely little patio in the back: Restaurant Lagerhaus (4. July 2019)

I was not aware of the fact that the restaurant Lagerhaus has a little outside patio which isn’t actually that little but quite huge. The lunch menu today consisted of a “cold cucumber bowl” which was good in terms of flavor and consistency. However, while serving something cold is fine, I do not understand why you would have to put an ice cube into the bowl.

The “pike perch with vegetables” was relatively regular and frankly speaking, the fish was a bit too dry for my personal gusto. What I liked a lot was the quality of the service until the food was served. However, the moment all the food had been served, the waitress somehow disappeared. When we tried to ask for the bill, there was just noone around. So finally we walked towards the exit to pay there – not really how you wish a proper service to be.

All in all, the Lagerhaus remains a good place you can visit for lunch and if you sit outside and get a quiet table, it is quite lovely overall. However, when it’s busy during rush hour, it ain’t that amazing.
