High continuity in terms of bad service: Restaurant Schiller (23. August 2019)

| October 1, 2019 | 0 Comments

I went for the lunch offering with the “spicy tomato soup” as a starter which was absolutely okay and even nicely spicy like you would want it to be.

However, the main course was a massive disappointment – the “caesar salad with bacon, croutons and chicken stripes” (CHF 25.00) was just not really appealing. It definitely looks decorative, admittedly, but it was just somehow a disappointment in terms of flavors and taste. The chicken was bland and the whole salad was just boring in terms of flavor.

The restaurant Schiller is one of these places where I keep having different experiences – sometimes things are incredibly good and tasty. And sometimes it is really just not acceptable. Especially with regards to service, there is no consistency at all. But in doubt, they are way too slow. Again, it took them 45 minutes to prepare the caesar salad (and my company only had a pasta dish which also doesn’t need that long), so the kitchen is just not up to the task. I wonder why but haven’t figured so far.
