Huge Italian lunch portions: Restaurant Mamma Assunta (23. September 2019)

| October 27, 2019 | 0 Comments

One thing you won’t be when you leave the Mamma Assunta is hungry! I went for the “corn salad with egg with home-made Italian dressing” (CHF 11.00) as a starter which was quite a portion! I mean, I honestly believe that you are actually done with the salad (and if I’d have known that, I wouldn’t have ordered a main afterwards). In any case, the salad is good and enjoyable.

The “Pizza Padrone (tomatoes, mozzarella, anchovies, capers, ham, pepperoni (capsicum), hot peppers, salami)” (CHF 22.00) is quite a rich pizza as you have a lot of different ingredients.

The service remains as friendly and helpful as always and you have – overall – just a pleasant experience when visiting the Mamma Assunta.
