Lovely alternative lunch offering in St. Gallen: Restaurant The Pinch (18. November 2019)

| December 11, 2019 | 0 Comments

Although I have passed The Pinch quite a couple of times, I have never realized it is actually a restaurant when passing. Today was the time to give it a try. I went for the “soup of the day” which was a nice portion in size but also in terms of taste.

The “white wine risotto with river crabs, half-dried tomatoes, Parmesan and basil” (CHF 22.50) was lovely in terms of taste and definitely enjoyable.

The place has a bit a funny layout so basically there are various smaller rooms where not too many tables have space but it is compensated by the attention to detail when it comes to interior design and by the caring waitresses. They are super friendly and actually swift in their service! All in all, The Pinch is a great location for a swift, tasty, and very enjoyable lunch. Make sure to book your table in advance though.
