6. February 2010: Restaurant Vorstadt Café

| February 8, 2011 | 0 Comments

A sound meal for a decent price is what you get at the Restaurant Vorstadt Café. The menu is rather small but it has its reasons: The Vorstadt Café is (supposedly) famous for its breakfasts and not really for the other meals of a day. Still, we had dinner there and I went for Thai Noodles with beef stripes which were quite okay. They tasted good, the portion was big enough and the price of about 10.00 EUR is also fair for it. It’s nothing really special or outstanding but it’s a sound meal.

A bottle of Malbec costs EUR 23.00 which is also pretty okay. The service is friendly and correct, but not overly quick. The atmosphere of the place is nice but it’s pretty tight so you don’t have much space really.

All in all, the Restaurant Vorstadt Café is okay to have a quick plate for not too much money in a nice atmosphere with friendly waiters.
