Great business lunch offering in a nice setting: Restaurant Smith and de Luma (21. February 2020)
Since I’ve recently been to the Smith and de Luma for an event (MEAT Academy), I decided to give it a try again for a regular lunch. And I must say that it is a place I can absolutely recommend. They offer a lunch menu for CHF 32.00 starting with a “cauliflower soup” which was of a nice thickness and, therefore, intensity and just perfect to start the lunch.
The “veal flank (200gr) with fregola and zucchini” was great. I really got to appreciate flank steak so much as it is a perfect combination of consistency, texture, and flavor! And this particular piece of flank steak was delicious – and went quite well with the fregola and the zucchini.
We even got a small “cake” for dessert which was tasty too (not entirely sure what kind of cake it was though).
The place is quite lovely and spacious and you have space between the tables so you get your privacy which makes the place ideal for business lunches. On top of that, the staff is friendly and super helpful making sure you enjoy your lunch.
Even though the place is a bit ‘remote’, I would highly recommend you to book a table in advance as it isn’t all too big on the one hand side and, on the other hand side, it looked quite booked out when I was there. Definitely recommended for lunch too!
