A relatively disappointing lounge experience: Sheraton Club Lounge @ Kobe Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers (13. March 2020)

| April 11, 2020 | 0 Comments

Although the impacts of the Coronavirus are clearly visible in the Japanese society, a large part of it still works according to normal procedures with the exception that some sights are closed for visitors and clear announcements over public loudspeakers that you should wash your hands frequently. The Kobe Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers decided to deal a bit differently with the concept Sheraton Club Lounge and basically kept the lounge open but there wouldn’t be a buffet in the evening to pick from but rather some small nibbles served with your order to your table. Given there was not explanation and no menu, I am not quite sure what I’ve had but it looked liked seafood …

… cheese and meat, of which the latter didn’t really look all too appealing to me and also didn’t really taste all too great. The staff is friendly and tries its best to make sure you have everything you need.

The interior of the lounge is okay but definitely already a bit aged, so I’d say – even if things are back to normal – the lounge is not really the place you need to visit when you stay in the Kobe Bay Sheraton.
