Great dishes Italian style in a traditional atmosphere: Restaurant Bindella (8. June 2020)
Although I have been to many Bindella restaurants I haven’t been to the ‘Restaurant Bindella’, so it was about time to do exactly that. The place is appealing but has also a rather traditional interior design which reminds you of an old, traditional Italian restaurant. The tables are divided with little glass dividers making sure that you are sufficiently separated from the other tables. The waiter was friendly and helpful and the starter, “pomodorini e mozzarella di bufala” (CHF 19.00) was served within no time. The portion was quite generous and the tomatoes were actually surprisingly aromatic.
Given, liver is something I do not really prepare at home, I decided to go for “fegato di vitello alla veneziana” (CHF 44.00) which was absolutely delicious. The liver was aromatic and not chewy at all – and light at the same time.
It was served with “risotto al parmigiano” which was smooth and lovely in taste.
The Restaurant Bindella is definitely a restaurant you have to visit if you like traditional Italian food – the dishes are delicious, the prices are fair, the interior is okay, and the service is swift and friendly. Booking in advance highly recommended!
