Good lunch offering but not really when you’re in a hurry: Restaurant Saku (11. August 2020)
The Saku offers quite a good bargain for lunch – for CHF 28.00 only you get a small “sushi” as a starter which is rather simple but nice to get your palate started. But you don’t only get some sushi, but you also can also pick 0.5L lemonade. The ‘Yuzu lemonade’ I went for was good and refreshing.
More importantly, you get to pick your soup – I went, somehow as always, for the “Tantanmen (spicy miso base with minced meat, corn, egg, spring onions, nori and wakame)” version which provides a good balance between spicy and flavourful. And what is amazing about it – you will definitely have enough once you’re done enjoying the soup.
The restaurant has a little patio in the back which is quite lovely – the only problem is though that everyone wants to sit outside. Therefore, I would highly recommend you to book a table in advance in case you intend to sit outside and enjoy the sun. Getting a table on short notice is generally difficult and getting one outside is close to impossible.
