Simple yet nice food and lovely shisha by the beach: W Lounge @ W Dubai – The Palm (19. January 2021)
The “caesar salad with chicken” was decent – but nothing more than that. The chicken was somehow a bit too breaded and a bit too dry for my gusto.
Luckily though, the “burger” was not only looking tasty but was actually quite yummy. You can see by the way it is presented that there is a lot of flavor in it and it was exactly that – a lot of flavor! The sweet potato fries on the other hand were a bit too stroppy for my personal gusto but still enjoyable.
Last but not least, you can also get “double apple shisha” (180 AED) by the beach – and I tell you, that’s one of the best ideas ever, since the location is marvelous and perfect to relax and last but not least, the shisha responsible did a great job as she was always there when the coal needed to be changed and was super friendly at all times.
So, the W Lounge has its upsides and downsides, and is a place which is more for a quick “pool bite” than for a business lunch or the like.
