Non-satisfactory onboard experience: SWISS Business LX242 ZRH – DXB (5. March 2021)

| May 19, 2021 | 0 Comments

Considering what you pay for a flight in Business from ZRH to DXB, the food offering isn’t really satisfying. The “beef entrecôte tataki with mustard chutney, beetroot-pear salad with Gruyère blue cheese served with a seasonal salad and Italian balsamic dressing incl. selection of cheese from Switzerland (15-month aged Gruyère, Swiss brie and pear bread)” was a starter. And just that. Nothing which tingled your taste buds, nothing which you would remember for long.

The “braised beef brisket with demi-glace, sweet potato purée with root vegetables” was a bit better but the brisket was cooked too much (at least for my personal gusto) but at least the root vegetables were truly enjoyable.

My highlight was the “yuzu lemon meringue pie with Gruyère double cream” – nothing wrong with this dish. All in all, the food experience in SWISS Business was an acceptable one – but really not more than that. And the service was also somewhat not really that exquisite. It seemed like they were distracted a lot (and keep in mind, the whole plane was basically filled by around 15%) and didn’t really pay much attention.

So, to sum it up – another flight done but definitely not very satisfied with the onboard experience this time.
