Delicious Italian-style pizza while sitting outdoors: Restaurant Rosso (21. April 2021)
It’s been quite some time since you were allowed to go to a restaurant in Switzerland – and it was finally time again. The terraces opened and you were allowed to sit outside – and despite the not optimal weather, I decided to sit down in the Restaurant Rosso and enjoy a pizza. And the “Pizza Salame (con salame picante e olive)” (CHF 26.00) with “additional anchovies” (for free) was actually outstanding. The crust was thin, the toppings were tasty, and all in all, it just made for a great pizza.
While the fact that the restaurant is located right next to the train tracks and, is therefore, a bit loud, it is still nice since you get to sit outside and take in the sun. The service is friendly and swift and makes sure you get your lunch within a few minutes only. Just perfect for a quick lunch break. All in all, I would recommend you to book a table in advance since the restaurant doesn’t have too many tables and is usually quite booked.
