24. March 2011: sugar nightclub
The sugar nightclub is a nice place where you get to listen to good music – not in the classical meaning of good music but the chart music they’re playing is great to party. The place itself is pretty nice too – it consists of two parts: a lounge and a club. Both places are nice – the interior design is appealing, the club is pretty spacious in general, but was rather crowded at the InterNations.org event.
The bar tenders are nice and friendly and rather quick in making the drinks. Also, the price is pretty fair (accounting for example for EUR 7.50 for a vodka lemon). When you plan to pay by credit card though, you’ll have to order at least for EUR 30.00 because otherwise they won’t accept it. The entrance price is EUR 7.00 and therefore also pretty fair. What is comparatively expensive (if you compare it to entrance price and drink price) is the wardrobe (EUR 2.00).
All in all, the sugar nightclub is a nice place which is appealing, has fair drinks, which don’t cost much and the music is pretty entertaining too. The crowd is nice as well. Definitely a nice place to go.
