Great for a quick dinner break after 18 holes: Restaurant 19 @ Migros Golfplatz Otelfingen (19. June 2021)

Frankly, the Restaurant 19 is never something I’d go to just to eat. However, if you have been playing 18 holes and you’re thirsty and hungry, or need to escape the super heavy rainfalls, then the Restaurant 19 is absolutely perfect for a brief break. A meal of “fish and chips, 18 holes” (CHF 17.00) combined with a large “golfer” (CHF 6.50) is perfect after the round. The French fries are nicely crispy, there is more than enough fish in the fish and chips (but they were a tiny bit too crispy for my personal gusto) and also enough sauce tatar.

The atmosphere of the place is – well, the atmosphere. Nothing special. Functional. As it should be for anything Migros. The service though – while being friendly – could definitely work a bit on its quality since it took them a solid 10 minutes to deliver a menu so we could pick what to order – which seems kind of a stretch. But, all in all, the restaurant is a solid choice after a round of golf.
