Delicious breakfast options in a nice atmosphere and with good service: Restaurant Glashaus @ Hyatt Regency Cologne (13. July 2021)
It is about five years ago since I’ve last been to the Hyatt Regency Cologne – and it was great to be back since the breakfast buffet is actually exquisitely enjoyable. You really kind of get everything you need and want – ranging from a variety of different cheeses …
… to cold cuts …
… and typical German dishes like “pork met” (no, not meat, met) …
… as well as the mandatory selection of seafood …
… a huge selection of fresh fruit …
… cereals …
… jams, bread and butter and …
… an omelet station where they serve quite delicious omelets. The only thing which bothered me a bit was the fact that you could not get your own bacon or warm dishes but had to get it served at the omelet station. Not a biggie of course but I kind of don’t understand it since with everything else, you help yourself, only with the warm dishes not. In any case, the place is nice, the service is friendly and attentive and really makes your breakfast experience a memorable one.
