24. November 2009: Restaurant Carlsberg Øl
The Restaurant Carlsberg Øl is a typical Milan restaurant which is located quite in the middle between Moscova (green metro line) and Porta Garibaldi (green metro line).
Carlsberg Øl is the perfect place to go if you want to see a Milan soccer game and having something to eat at the same time. The restaurant is actually quite nice furnished, like a typical little Italian restaurant with the slight difference that it’s actually not little but quite large.
The huge crowd of people having dinner while watching a soccer game is also leading to the fact that the waiters don’t have much time for you and you have to wait quite long until they actually come. Furthermore, it takes quite some time until you actually receive what you ordered.
What must be outlined though is the huge menu to choose from. The dishes served are okay. Nothing special, nothing bad, just food. The price-performance ratio … the dishes are not expensive but they’re not really good either, so it’s like a cheap eatable dish.
Still, if you want to experience a soccer game in the middle of Milan people and eating something at the same time, it’s the place to go. Reservation is needed though – when there is a game on!
