Similar to Dubai-style Sunday brunches: Restaurant La Villita @ Sheraton Buganvilias (21. November 2021)
What you get at the Sunday brunch at the Sheraton Buganvilias La Vilita restaurant is actually quite a deal, i.e., it is very similar to an extensive brunch in Dubai but just a bit smaller and a bit more local. The breakfast is priced at around 420 MXN on a regular day which is fair and slightly more expensive on Sundays. This is mainly due to the fact that there are various food stands which prepare fresh stuff just for you like the “tacos al pastor” which were super delicious …
… or “tacos al birria” or “tacos con carnitas” which were both also absolutely mouth-watering. Since I had the chance to try out two Sunday brunches in a row, it can be said that they are also offering a variety of different things in these places so you don’t end up always eating the same.
What I liked a lot about the place is that you are able to chose your juice, i.e., you let them know which ingredients you want in your juice and they prepare your fruit juices freshly right in front of you.
Of course there is the regular breakfast stuff like a variety of different breads and sweets …
… ceviche …
… salads …
… fruit …
… chocolate fountain …
… desserts …
… as well as a whole turkey …
… and soups. And many more things I was not able to take a picture of.
All in all, the place is nice, since it’s covered but generally outdoors, so you can enjoy your breakfast from 7 – 12am between 23 and 29 degrees Celsius at this time of the year which is quite damn amazing.
All in all, if you stay at the Sheraton Buganvilias (which I wouldn’t necessarily recommend since the amenities for Marriott Bonvoy elites are very limited plus it’s really a party place so it’s always noisy and loud), then you should definitely try the La Villita for breakfast (especially since at least that is included in the amenities).
