A great bar – but one you can, unfortunately, still smoke in: Vertu Sophisticated Bar (16. December 2021)
After the first try, it was time to find a place which would offer you drinks without having a clue where to go, Google was my lifesaver again. The Vertu Sophisticated Bar does not entirely promise what the name says. I mean, it’s a bar, and it’s nice. But I wouldn’t call it sophisticated. However, the interior is comfortable and the bar tender is friendly and welcoming.
The “Gin Gin Mule (Gin, Ginger, Mint, Sugar, Ginger Beer)” (CHF 18.00) I went for was absolutely decent but could have been a hint stronger for my personal gusto.
The place itself is nice but has, in my opinion, one downside which is the fact that it is basically a bar where you can still smoke. Which is of course okay in general but not something I enjoy much since all your clothes smell like smoke afterwards. In any case, I can recommend the Vertu Sophisticated Bar for a drink.
