While it remains delicious it definitely has become overpriced: Restaurant Aura (11. January 2022)
Usually, I’m not so picky when it comes to pricing but frankly, if you don’t offer a lunch menu and then the meat option is about CHF 62.00 without a side dish, it really feels like a rip-off. The “black pepper beef (port wine, soy, Worchester sauce, black pepper) (2oogr)” (CHF 62.00) was definitely good but not the best piece of meat I’ve enjoyed in my life. The fact that the “creamy spinach” accounts for an additional CHF 8.00 is somewhat off. I mean, this makes CHF 70.00 for a regular lunch plate – that’s just outrageous!
Other than that, the Aura is nice in terms of interior design and the service is friendly and relatively swift. But the price is just off – and there aren’t really any cheap options on the menu. For me, this is a place I will definitely not frequent for lunch anymore!
