Decent place for drinks but a smokers’ bar: Bunny’s Bar (5. March 2022)

Finding a bar which is open on a Saturday afternoon and still has space is super hard to find. Unless you’re willing to queue for hours. Since I wasn’t, I finally ended up in the Bunny’s Bar. Not a place I would usually have walked into to be honest but since it was rated quite high on Google (4.4), I decided to give it a try anyways. Heads-up – it’s a smokers’ bar, so if you don’t smoke it’s a bit uncomfortable since all your clothes will smell like smoke after.

I went for the “Planter’s Punch (Myer’s Rum, lemon juice, pineapple juice, orange juice, grenadine)” (EUR 8.50) as a first drink which was decent. Not really too great to be honest but definitely possible to drink. What was a bit of a surprise was the fact that it took so long. Of course, there is only one bar tender and she took care of everything and every table. But since there were no other guests, it still took a bit long to prepare the drinks.

Secondly, I went for a “Touchdown (Absolut Vodka, Apricot Brandy, grenadine, passion fruit juice, lemon juice)” (EUR 8.50) which was decent too. Again, not really too exciting in terms of flavor profile.

The bar itself is rather simple in terms of interior design and not too appealing really. But all in all, it’s a decent place where you can definitely enjoy a few drinks before 6pm. Especially, if you’re not sensitive to smoke.
